Quite a complex model, difficult to negotiate, mainly the MB canals. The pulp chamber and root canal system of this second molar are without significant calcifications or obliterations. The MB1 and MB2 root canals present a challenge — they start separately and join into a common canal in the apical third of the root. The apical diameters of the respective canals range from 0.15 to 0.3 mm. Designed to fit Biovoxel Typodont.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE- Inserting the Biovoxel EndoTooth Model into the Typodont
Tighten the EndoTooth very gently. Turn the screw only until you feel the first slight resistance.
At that point:
- Check the tooth stability by hand
- If the tooth is stable, do not tighten further
Overtightening may cause the root to break.
